Hello, I am in Pattern Mode and recorded an audio sample to a Keybank, which was subsequently recorded as a phrase in Pattern Mode. However, I am unable to change the tempo of that phrase, or properly save it to the XF to play it later - for every time I turn the keyboard off and turn it back on, the audio disappears out of the Pattern it was saved in. My goal is to be able to set different audio loops in Pattern Mode and be able to perform live with them (including being able to change their tempo, transpose, etc.). Your help is greatly appreciated. |

Do you have an optional Flash Board installed? That’s going to be required to have audio samples/loops remain through a power cycle. You want to change the tempo and pitch of audio “on the fly”? That’s not going to happen, but you can edit your loops (up to [8] measures in length) by using Sample Slice. You can find a lot of initial information in Learning about the Sample SLICE and SLICE+SEQ Sample functions. If you just need to LOAD and sync an audio sample that can be played along with the sequenced MIDI data (i.e. not pitch-altered), see This Thread |
