Hey Guys,

I have a urgent request.
My son needed an USB Stick for some s***** reason and formated my Motif XS USB Stick!!

Now I have a huge Problem because all my Voices ex factory are gone!

Does anybody knows how to get back to the original sounds including the User “presets”?? (Not my USER Presets, I mean factory USER Presets!)

Thanks,
T.

There are PRESET programs provided by the Factory and those are still there, not even a mischievous son (who gets a pass for messing up on Dad’s Day) can destroy your Factory PRESETS.
There are USER Programs loaded into the USER VOICE Banks, the PERFORMANCE Banks, the MASTER bank, etc.

These can be quickly easily and painlessly restored by loading the FACTORY SET:

Here’s how
Press [UTILITY]
Press [JOB]
Press [ENTER]
Press [YES]

This will restore the Factory Set.
See page 22 of your Motif XS Owner’s Manual for the details.

Semantics of the Terminology
There is no such thing as a “Preset User"… Although we know exactly what you are referring to, however. Programs that were placed into the User memory locations by the good folks at the Factory. The “Factory Set” of user area data.
