I’m confused when you state “when I hit the arpeggio tab thru this method”. See if you can make this clearer. Are you saying you get no sound when a key is depressed when you have the Arp switch ON? Something sounds amiss, but need clearer picture. |

You posted in the Motif XF forum, but you referred to your Motif 7, and your member profile also indicates you have a Motif (Classic, not an XF). Which Motif do you have? EDIT: This thread got moved to the Motif (Classic) forum. |

Yes. I get no sound when a key is depressed when the Arp switch ON. Every time I hit the EDIT button, then the COMMON button, then select the F3/ARPEGGIO button, turn the SWITCH and HOLD buttons to ON...I get NO sound. Turn the SWITCH and HOLD buttons from ON to OFF...I get Sound. Doesn’t matter which MODE I’m in: VOICE, or PERFORMANCE, SONG or PATTERN...NO SOUND...NO ARPEGGIO. And, Yes… I’m trying to ARPEGGIO a track already recorded using PRE1:001 [POWER GRAND]patch. |

Since PRE:001 is Power Grand on your Motif, you don’t have an XF. On the XF, setting MIDI Sync to “MIDI” (in Utility Mode) will cause what you’ve described. I don’t have a Classic, but likely there’s a similar setting on it. Try setting MIDI Sync to “internal”, or the equivalent on the Motif 7. |

Thanks 5pinDIN....setting MIDI Sync to “internal†fixed my problem - Thanks! |
