Does anyone know how to hook the MOFX to Sonar X3? Having tons of trouble! |

We are sure you mean a MOXF6, as there is no such thing as a MOFX.
You require a USB cable (one should have come with your MOXF).
You will require your SONAR Documentation on how to select and configure your ASIO Driver inside of Sonar for the following:
Port 1 - for music performance data (Note-ons, Controllers, Tempo)

i have sonar x3 and moxf6 for some reason the asio driver cant be selected? not sure why can anyone help? |

What ASIO Driver? Please provide the exact version number

It works (some what) in WDM/KS Driver Mode but its nothing but distortion. |

I’m having the same issue. Generic driver is selected in Preferences, but Steinberg/Yamaha driver is ghosted and not selectable. Works fine with Cubase, but I’m a long-time Cakewalk/Sonar user and want to get back to Sonar. Edit: You have to UNCHECK to Generic driver to make the Yamaha Driver available for selection. |

In Sonar X3 you will have to deselect (untick) all other audio drivers before you can select the yamaha steinberg usb asio driver. |
