Hi,

Actually I have two questions.

I am looking for a reasonable priced microphone for recording a soprano, alt and tenorsax. Not all at the same time, but one by one. I am using a N12 mixer and Cubase 7. I want to use one microphone for those instruments. Beside that microphone I also am looking for a reasonable priced one for vocals.

Second question, does it still makes sense to buy a second N12 if I want to expand input channels, because it seems that fire wire is abandoned by Yamaha in her new mixers.

Any sound suggestions are welcome.
