Hmmmm.. You won’t like it, but I recommend you ditch Live for any serious midi work.. Why not try the Cubase AI 4? that (I think) comes with the MOXF? It is similar in operation to Sonar, and it links really tightly with the MOXF. I don’t use it simply because I run Sonar :-) it is still a pretty good freebie, especially for midi work. Once in Cubase you will find a lot of things will become easier, and almost intuitive! |

I think you have a good point. It is cubase AI 7 actually and I used version 6 before. The added advantage for cubase would be the ability to use the MOXF as an external vsti instrument which is not possible in Live as it does not support vst3 yet! Live is the final step to me before a release. If I need to get some midi for the MOXF I can do that in cubase, get it to MOXF, get what I need done then back to Live. That seems like a good workflow when I need to move backward from DAW to MOXF. Thanks for the suggestion. I hope it is trouble free as you said. |

Cool, it is up to 7 now! If you have used 6, you should have little trouble with 7. I think you are making the correct move fwiw, (but then I AM biased in favour of DAWs ;-) ) good luck with it. D |
