Hi friends,
Is there a way to insert a program change in the Motif to affect an external device, but not the Motif itself. I can send a message via MIDI to my DSP 128+ to change programs, but the voice in the Motif changes too, and I don’t want it to. Thanks!

When in Song or Pattern mode you can selectively tell a PART to ignore Bank Select and Program Changes.
Press [MIXING]
Press [EDIT]
Select the PART [1]-[16]
Press [F5] RCV SW (Receive Switch)
Set the Receive Switch for Bank Select and Program Change = Off
This will affect only the internal Part, which will stay at whatever Voice is stored in that Mix.
Press [STORE] to update your Mixing program.

We assume you know how to insert a Program Change, if not, let us know.
