It’s kinda easy to compare XF vs moxf or XS vs mox.
But what about motif XS6 vs MOXF6?
I wish I could afford XF, But with my budget I can only afford either XS6 or MOXF6.

Which one has more preset performances, arpeggios and voices??

For Preset Voices and Arps, the MOXF has more than the XS.

There are no “preset performances” - the factory performances can all be overwritten. The MOXF has two User Banks for Performances, the XS has three User Banks for Performances, each Bank having 128 locations.

Are those the only things you want to consider?

I think those are the only things. I wanna use it mostly as a plug in in cubase and as a midi controller.
And maybe even okay live with a band sometimes. But having lots of preloaded performances is good for inspiration ot quickly to lay down the fundamental of the beat/music/song and than customize it in cubase.

Rather than financing equipment I’ve used Zzounds occasionally. Pay as you play. You could get it for less than 450 a month no interest.

But I still don’t need all those extra features of motif xf.
So are the number of preloaded performances more on moxf than on xs?

I just red thru Motif Xf and moxf data list manuals.
MoXf has the same number of presets as xf, plus xf has one user bank with preloaded voices.
But moxf has 2 performance banks with preloaded performances while XF has 4 banks.
Is it possible to copy the rest of XF’s factory preloaded performances into moxf’s other 2 empty banks? Will they be compatible??

No - as I explained before, the XS has one more Performance Bank (128 locations) than the MOXF.

That’s incorrect. The XF has 8 Preset Voice Banks, the MOXF has 9 Preset Voice Banks. The additional Preset Voice Bank in the MOXF includes the Voices that are in Voice Bank User1 of the XF.

As the MOXF comes from the factory, or after a factory reset, it does not have “other 2 empty banks” for Performances. Any XF Performances that are loaded to a MOXF will overwrite ones that already exist.
