Hi,
I’m interested in trying the moxf 61. So when I went to the shop and they only had the 88keys moxf on display and the old mox61. However the attendant said it would be the exact same keybed on the moxf61 as the mox61. So is it true??
Anyway I tried the mox and didn’t like the keybed, it does not allow the A pianos to really speak its full dynamics and articulations when played fast jazz etc.  Anyway anyone tried the moxf61?

Did you try adjusting the velocity curve?

You may have made some unfair judgements depending on how the velocity curve of the MOX6 you played was set.

I personally prefer it set to SOFT on the MOX6 because I find it make things sound little bit bolder.

You seem to be expecting an awful lot from a short key synth action.

As far as I’m aware the MOX6 and the MOXF6 use the same keybed.

if you want to play with a feel closer to real piano then I recommend either a MOX8 or MOXF8

The MOXF6 is going to be the same.

If you want to play piano authentically, neither “6” action is what you want to choose.

The recommendation from philwoodmusic is correct.
