Merry Christmas everyone (and Happy Holidays to those so inclined) :-)

I’ll keep it short today.

I’ve gone brain dead more than usual today and can’t seem to find the solution.

I have a Performance I like and Voice (2) and Voice (3) have an ARP on each of them.

I want to disable the ARPs on those two Voices and play what I want to play, not what the ARPs are playing.

So how do you disable the ARPs but still play the Voices?

In the Melas Perf Editor it is by clicking on the Arpeggiator Parts tab and then uncheck the “Arp” and “Play” boxes..not sure on the keyboard itself as I pretty much only use the editor.

Hello p_e!

I don’t have the Melas Performance Editor.

Is there no other way to do what I want on the keyboard?

1. Press Arp Edit(F5) - select the part (using the Part Select number buttons on the right side of the keyboard - it has the text PART SELECT screen printed under the number buttons) - press Main (F3) - turn Switch to OFF

2. Press Voice (F2) - Press Edit - press Mode (SF2) arrow to the part and turn ArpPlyOnly to off

There is an quicker way to do it - Press [EDIT]

Buttons 5-8 is Arp ON/OFF for part 1-4
Buttons 9-12 is Mute for part 1-4
Button 13-16 is Arp Hold ON/OFF for part 1-4

This is also printed below the buttons as pax_eterna pointed out:)

The Part I’m selecting is Part (2), the Bass Guitar Voice.

When I turn the Switch to Off, the Bass Guitar will not play/sound.

Do it as I posted above!
it,s an faster/easier way, just press one button to turn off the Arp and then you will be able to play!

When I press Edit and turn the ARP off for Part Two (the Bass), the Bass will no longer play/sound.

Is this an Preset performance? if so what the name of it?
this works for me on the performances I have tried it on!

It is a Performance from the MOTIF XS/XF called 8Beat Basic.

PS
Now that I found out the Performance is from the XF, I have edited the Topic to ask the question correctly.

Hold the Presses (literally and figuratively)!!!!!

When I followed the steps, I accidentally found out that the problem is when I pressed the keys normally, the Bass would not sound.

When I barely, and I mean BARELY pressed the keys, the Bass plays/sounds perfect.

How do I change that response problem?

This is the sort of “live” play characteristic of a Mega Voice patch, however (and assuming it is the factory version of the perf) the patch is Straight Finger AF1&2;) which should have harmonics sounding at really low velocities but above that it sounds normal.

What is the patch for part 2 showing as on yours jerry?

I don`t have that performance, Whats the bass preset?

It mite be an MEGA voice?
Then it is made for Arps and are more or less unplayable!
Even hard to get any sound from some of em when hitting keys.

EDIT: You already got an answer,I need to write faster :)
