I bought the XS Rack to use as a drum machine.  How do I find a simple swing patch in the Rack and how do I apply a fill to it.  On my S90XS the 5 arp buttons are handy in front of me.  Can I use a footswitch to go from main swing pattern to fill pattern.

Not enough information about what you want to do… Perform live? Sequencer? Computer?

We can tell you this the buttons on the front panel of the S90 XS will control the Arpeggiators in the S90 XS, if you are thinking they will address the Motif-Rack XS, they WILL NOT. Those buttons control the S90 XS and do not transmit Out via MIDI, at all.

You can assign a controller to select arps for the Rack XS but that is a totally separate thing.
