Can someone post the performance of MOXF? Is Motif XF read(loading) it?

I see that some of the performance of MOXF are different to XF.

The Motif XF (2010) cannot read the data of the new MOXF (2013)… Like time things move forward.

Yes, there are new Performances in the MOXF and new arpeggios as well. So even if you were to construct the Performances, you don’t have the new arps either.

Are you having difficulty creating your own PERFORMANCES? The ones from the factory are always just to give you an idea of what is possible, please explore… here’s a method to do so:

Find a PERFORMANCE that there is something about it you like. Start by substituting a new Drum Kit or replacing the Bass with an entirely different type of bass, then try swapping the ARP TYPEs with others. Before you know it you have morphed the old PERFORMANCE into something completely different.

Try it!

Is It possible to load XF’s performances into moxf??

Yes. It might be necessary to edit them so that the correct Voice locations are pointed to.

How do you know the correct Voice’s to point to?

If the XF Performances are based on XF Preset Voices and/or the factory User 1 Voice Bank, then only ones that point to the User 1 Bank will need to be changed, so that they point to the MOXF’s Preset 9 Voice Bank.

If XF Performances are based on User Voices other than from the factory User 1 Bank, then the User Voices should be saved and loaded to the MOXF.

Note taking might be required, especially if selective loading is done.
