You can add Distortion or other Effect to the PART playing the Rhythm Patterns. When you press the button labeled [RHYTHM PATTERN] you will immediately be in touch with parameters of the pattern; use the CURSOR UP/DOWN arrow to navigate the parameters. You can select any of the Drum Kits for the current Rhythm Pattern.

Press the [PART SELECT] button
Touch button [10] to view the parameters for the DRUM KIT - the RHYTHM PATTERN always accesses PART 10
As you cursor down if you wish to assign an INSERT EFFECT make sure the INSERT EFF SW is set to ON.

Press [EDIT]
Select “PART” parameters for PART 10
