This forum section rarely sees action but I didn’t know where to post this.  Some of you may recall I record without any DAW.  I’ve tried to learn cubase. Reaper, mixcraft, cakewalk but my brain was not wired for them

Anyways, I read on gearslutz where tracktion was being revived.  I got the demo and loved the interface.  I’ve been playing with automation, plugins and find its a good match for me at a beginner level.  Plus it connected flawlessly to my PC, Motif XF and my Zoom R16.  Everything communicated first time out. 

Just wanted to share.  I tried reaper but there were pull down menu crashes constantly in my windows 8 platform.  I’m sure they’ll be fixed but I didn’t want to wait and this interface is totally different from all other DAWS
