Zozole, can you link it here? Im not gonna join those 2nd hand sites to download the voice. Papanix, i have your version but i would like to have a version that utilizes more of the keyboard, thanks. |

You’re welcome, bearandkoko, you can expand the keyboard range, but the quality will not be fine.
For all folks who want to share sounds for Motif, you can use free webspace to host your file like dropbox, googledrive or skydrive, it’s free, and so more easy to acces than rapidshare, 4share ....... |

Only if you don’t believe the instrument should be able to produce more than one tone at a time… have you ever heard Tuvan throat singing? :-) |

the sound runs over itself with poly on. But again, that may be a style of playing that i am unfamiliar with. I think the sound was meant to be played mono, its a flute sound. Anyways, it sounds just like enigma which is what i was aiming for. I try to play alot of that style music, for relaxation, LOL. the sustain carries in mono just fine. |

Got it, and I didn’t mean to suggest that the sound shouldn’t be played mono - that’s why I included the smilie. On the other hand, I provided the link to Tuvan throat singing because most people wouldn’t think the human voice capable of simultaneously producing multiple tones, and yet there you go. If you’re attempting to emulate something that already exists, then being faithful to the original sound could be important. Beyond that, how appropriate any sound is depends on personal choice and context. |
