I’m writing here, hoping to help an Italian Motif owner that faces some problems with a Voice within a Performance that doesn’t receive BC3 data, although in Voice mode it’s everything OK.

Assuming to what he told me, in Performance mode there’s only a generic Common --> ctlasn page from where you can’t assign and/or edit other parameters.

What gives?
Thanks

Being not in front of a Motif Classic I can’t tell the reason of this misfunction.
If anyone knows… please help :-)

There is no reason why a Voice setup for Breath Control would not work in a Performance. There is really not enough information to tell why it is not working. In the original Motif a PART of a Performance could be an internal Voice, or it could be a Voice from one of the PLG150-series Plug-in Boards. If this is the case, you must ensure that you initialize the Performance, select the Type of PARTs you are going to use and then initialize a second time. For example, if you have a PLG150 board in slot 1, the second time you initialize you would select the internal PARTs and PLG1 (mark them) and initialize. This creates a template into which you select the internal PART and the Plug-in PART to the appropriate SLOT.

But without knowing about the VOICES and the Performance it would be hard to say why it is not working.

Sorry for the delay.
The problem was solved initializing the Performance.
Thanks B_M! :-)
