Hi.
I just started to work with pattern mode.
I noticed all the patterns(/styles?) are completely empty.
Is that normal?
I did some changes to the first style/pattern, like recording some tracks, changing voices, tempo, etc. I saved it in the Mixing mode. but when I turned the motif off and on again - the whole style/pattern was empty again.

What can be the problem?

Yes. Completely normal. In order to Save your PATTERN data you must write a file to a SmartMedia Card storage device connected to the Motif.

If you create a PATTERN - in order to keep it, you must SAVE the data to a SmartMedia Card?.. The Motif Classic’s Sequencer is volatile (disappears when you power down).
