This might sound like a dumb question, but I will ask it always.

With the Motif XF, is the sustain pedal (CC64) just an on and off type control code (normally off unless you press down on the pedal which then would have the sustain on).  Is there any in-between point (if you press the pedal part way down) where you get some sustain.

The Motif XF sustain jack and the FC3 sustain pedal support a fully functioning half-damper control.  It will not be a ‘toggle’ switch when using this pedal (Like it would be with a FC4, for example), it will be a full range of damper control.
