What is the best/easiest way to adjust the octave setting on the different voices within a performance? I want to split up the keyboard for different voices - but I need to adjust the octave for each voice. I want to jump between playing 2 different instruments without hitting any buttons… but I need a correct register range for each instrument.

Do I have to create duplicate voices (and save in a user bank)- and edit the coarse tuning to shift the octave for each element within the voice ... for each of the voices I need… and then use those voices in the performance?

thanks
IW

I think I found the answer in the MOTIF ES forum:

From your PERFORMANCE
Press [EDIT]
Press a numbered button [1]-[4] to select a PART to EDIT
Press [F4] TONE
Press [SF1] TUNE
You can NOTE SHIFT each PART +/-24 semitones

Press [STORE] to update your PERFORMANCE
