Brand new owner of a S90XS.  One thing I can’t figure out is how to adjust the rotary speaker settings.  The default setting,in my opinion, is too slow to ‘wind up’ to full speed.  According to Yamaha Rep Phil Clendenin’s video, I should have “independent control of the Rotor and the Horn and transition time of each” (see video at 7:34 ) Thanks for any input…

And so you can.

The parameters are specifically:

_ “Slow-Fast Time of R” - is rotary speaker transition time or acceleration/deceleration. This parameter is assignable in any Control Set.
_ “Slow-Fast Time of H” is the horn transition time or acceleration/deceleration. This parameter is assignable in any Control Set.

Although written for the Motif-series, you will find the very same parameters in your S90 XS/S70 XS:

The Rotary Speaker Effect

Hope that helps (that video doesn’t seem like 3 years ago!)
