Hello

I agree with Motifator forum in Istanbul-Turkey.

I have equipment and software I list below.

1 - Macbook Pro (10.6)
2 - Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 DSP Sound Card
3 - Yamaha MM6 Keyboard

When I install the USB Midi driver for the Yamaha MM6

1 - / Library / Audio / MIDI Drivers / file path YAMAHA-USBMIDIDriver.plugin

2 - / Library / PreferencePanes / file path YAMAHA-USBMIDIPatch.prefPane

files do not appear. The above two files appear to be empty.

Yamaha USB MIDI Driver Installations Guide, it says that files should appear in the relevant files.

At the end of the installation process, “Installation completed successfully” said then, I wonder what could be the reason it is not visible anywhere on the two files?

Thank you ...

Nizamettin ...

First we should identify the driver by its name and version.

You want the Yamaha USB-MIDI Driver v1.3.2 for Mac OS X (10.5.x ~ 10.8.x)

Connect your MM6 to your computer via a USB cable.
Go to SYSTEM PREFERENCES
Double click on the YAMAHA USB-MIDI icon to open its Control Panel

Let us know what it says. If it finds your MM6 then everything is working. Do not worry about empty folders - there is nothing in them that you need to adjust or work with.

If your MM6 is shown, you are ready to work. If not, let us know.
