Finally, the XF versions of DCP “Complete Orchestra”, “Brass” and “Orchestral Strings are available at the Shop. All three libraries have

Are the samples the same as the XS version? Just new programming for the XF? Do the voices sound any different from the XS version? I just bought the XS version last August for my XF8 and want to better understand the new version. John |

Same samples. Voices optimized and tweaked. If you bought the XS version and installed it on your XF, you may or may not notice any sonic difference. C.O.XF loads to voice User banks 3 and 4, and performances to performance bank 4. The brass and strings libraries load voices to User 4.

Is Complete Orchestra XF the same as Brass XF and Strings XF combined? Do you get anything extra or anything missing if you buy Complete Orchestra XF vs. buying both Brass XF and Strings XF together? |

Just ordered orchestral strings for my XF6. Very excited to receive it!
Since I have a gig of flash memory - any other recommendations on strings (ensemble - solos?) |

Thanks for your purchase! Just to clarify - size does not necessarily matter when it comes to sample-based libraries. Quality of sound programming does.
Compared to virtual software sample libraries, most of which these days

I have a couple of very large string sample libraries, and yet none of them have an ensemble strings that sound as good as the one in the orchestral strings demo. So there must be something to what your are stating.

Hi!
The whole procedure took around from ordering to getting the library took around 10 minutes. Is there any other way to receive it other than download? DVD/CD format? |

Download only, unless you call Keyfax and order a custom CD with the library on it...not as convenient as the download. |

Glad I posted on this thread because for some reason I thought it would be mailed to me. But I found the download link in my email and that makes me very happy!

Hey Dave, how about commenting on my B3 percussion post. I want the percussion in the Pale Shade on Bees Knees, but can’t seem to find it. |

I’m in Asia on the road with David Foster...not in front of an XF at the moment. But as I recall, there is no percussion element in the B’s Knees Pale Shade voice. |
