Hi everybody, Congratulations for this forum!

I am new to motif xf. I’ve succeded in setting a split between two instruments under performance mode, but I would like to set the transpose for each instrument of the split. How can I do it?

Thanks in advance

Vincent

Welcome to the forum.

You are probably looking for Note Shift. With it, you can apply a shift of up to +/- 24 semitones (2 octaves) to any Part of the Performance. See the right-hand column of page 109 of the XF Reference Manual, continuing on page 110, (8).

(The Reference Manual is in PDF form, on a CD that you likely received with your XF. If not, you can download it here.)

Thanks, but when i’m on my performance and I press the edit button, there’s no voice menu where I can edit the note shift. Any suggestion? Thanks

[TRACK] or [PERFORMANCE CONTROL] should be selected (lit) - if not, press one.

Press one of the PART SELECT buttons, [1], [2], [3], or [4].

(You won’t be editing a Voice, but rather a Part.)
