Hi I own an mm6 but it has a problem which is so serious. When playing a chord or something with more than 5 polyphony, it plays a middle a or a sharp note with max velocity. I checked many voices including drum voices and the same thing happens.

I want to know if its a hardware malfunction or software problem.
And if it is either of them, please kindly tell me how to fix it.
I own a Motif ES but I use MM6 for band practices and with this problem I can not play piano or rhodes or pads. Surely it isnt a big deal when practicing with the band but I want to use some of it sounds on concert so this is really an issue.

Thanks

Sounds like you should have your instrument looked at by an authorized Service Center.

The Factory Reset for the MM is as follows:
MM6/MM8: Power on the unit while holding down the highest key

If the problem is still there after a Factory Reset, contact your nearest Service Center
