Hello,

Yesterday I install Cubase AI5 for my new Motif XF8. My set up are: FW16E connected to iMac OSX 10.7.4, Althrough I follow the article to-the-point, I newer got the port mapped properly.
Reason why:
Steinberg has some fix for Cubase AI5 named (COREAUDIO2ASIO UPDATE 2.0) which fix the port names on MacOS.

Possibly someone could update the actual article with a footnote regrade this - in case someone else run into the same problem.

has anyone tried the current FW drivers with Mountain Lion to make sure they work?

I tried installing them today, but got a “Failed to Initialize” error. Anyone get FW drivers to work in Mountain Lion?

Mountain Lion has no specific improvements for musicians. You should not update your Mac to Mountain Lion if you want to make music - there is simply no advantage to be gained at this point.

My new laptop came preinstalled with mountain lion. Hopefully there will be a driver update soon.
