The Olszak Pack Instruction sheet erroneously states that loading should go from FL1 to FL1. (Step 5). It should be FL1 > FL2. FL1 > FL1 generates the error message “sample memory full” when loading the OLSZAK.X3A file. FL1 has about 524 MB available while the Olszak Pack takes up about 584 MB . The OLSZAK.X3A file has a size of 611.471.453 bytes. This is, possibly, why Yamaha put the 1024 MB flash memory card in the Premium Collection (Anniversary) Pack for the Motif XF8. This extra memory is called FL2.
Another matter is that the instruction sheet filename ("Olszak_Pack_info_EN.pdf") states it is in English while in actual fact it is in Polish.
Note that the ‘installation’ onto FL2 takes (at least) 20 minutes!

Welcome to the forum.

The situation is a bit more nuanced than that. There are three differently-sized flash memory modules available for the XF - 512 MB, 1024 MB (1 GB), and from Mutec a 2048 MB (2 GB). They can be placed in either Slot 1 or Slot 2 locations in the XF. Which module location (FL1 or FL2) is appropriate for sample data depends on the module’s size and free memory available on a particular XF.
