hello all motif users

when im using my motif when im switching sounds there is always a little cut while switching (when im on a pad sound for ex. and i need more powerful sound, when i switch the sound although im still with my hands pushing a chord the sound stops and i need to take my hands up from the keyboard and push it again)

is it possible to switch the sounds without this horrible break between the sounds?

Yes. Place the sounds you want to use together in a PERFORMANCE - use the CS (Control Sliders) to move from one to the other. Or place your sounds as separate PARTS in a SONG MIXING or PATTERN MIXING setup, now you can move between them by using the Track buttons [1] and [2] and so on… you can place 4 VOICESin a PERFORMANCE and 16 in a MIXING.

You need to discover the other modes of your Motif. If you are in VOICE mode, try PERFORMANCE and then SONG MIXING - you’ll be amazed at what you have been missing…
