Is there a way to record “on input/level” with logic? In other words, is there to setup logic so it will start recording when it recieves a signal at a certain level or when you play/sing a note? Thanks in advance.

No such feature in Logic. What are you trying to do exactly?

Basically I want Logic to start recording the track as soon as I play a note instead of counting in. If you’re familiar with the yamaha motifs record on input samplying method this is pretty close to what I’m talking about.

There is a ‘capture as recording’ feature that can retrieve anything recorded while the transport was rolling, even if the record button was not engaged. But Logic eliminated the Wait For Note feature beginning with, I believe Logic 7.
