going to stick with my Korg experience/knowledge.Love the Karma technology.I know K Lab is about to release the technology to Yamaha. Not really a keyboard or piano player, know a few chords and scales I find the M-3 personally to be more fun. |

Hi logan9,
Anyway, good luck and best wishes with your choices, musically speaking. So, be well and have fun. I guess we can call this “Logan’s Run”! Chas |

TBH, Motif XF is way better than the Korg M3 and I say this having owned the Korg M3. Indeed, I changed the Korg M3 for the Yamaha Motif XF. The only exception to this is if you have the EXB-RADIAS, because here you have an additional synth engine to create VA Programs.
- Talking about synth power, EDS vs AWM2, Yamaha Motif XF has much more to offer.
I advise you to learn better the Motif XF because it’s an awesome workstation. |

In my particular case, I read all the Support Articles within Motifator for Motif XS and Motif XF and I must say that much of the understanding I have got, which IMHO is enough to feel myself confident for using the Motif XF, is because of those resources, which I really wish we have from Korg. The differences on the paradigms are huge, but here you have great resources to effectively learn. |
