I have this question:
Looking at the date list and number arpeggio XS and XF is not the same.
So how do I load the performances for XS may not be compatible to my XF???

The XF is fully compatible with XS data. If you examine the Data Lists, you’ll find that the Waveforms aren’t numbered the same in the XF versus the XS either - they only match up to number 43. The necessary conversion for the arp and waveform numbering is done by the XF.

See Compatibility information here:

I know that XF and XS are compatible.

But I wonder how it is done in the motif???

For example:
I programm perfromance at XS with arpegiio number 4000. Loading then a performance to the XF and arpegio number 4000 is not the same type ...

If you save that XS performance, and then load it to an XF, as I said, “The necessary conversion for the arp and waveform numbering is done by the XF.” I would assume the XF has a lookup table to accomplish that.

If you need to do that manually, then you could search for the same arp (by name) in the Data Lists (PDF files make that easy), and use the correctly numbered one.
