The XF is fully compatible with XS data. If you examine the Data Lists, you’ll find that the Waveforms aren’t numbered the same in the XF versus the XS either - they only match up to number 43. The necessary conversion for the arp and waveform numbering is done by the XF.

I know that XF and XS are compatible. But I wonder how it is done in the motif???

If you save that XS performance, and then load it to an XF, as I said, “The necessary conversion for the arp and waveform numbering is done by the XF.” I would assume the XF has a lookup table to accomplish that. If you need to do that manually, then you could search for the same arp (by name) in the Data Lists (PDF files make that easy), and use the correctly numbered one. |
