Missed it by 11 days! How typical of my luck! Bought mine of Feb 4th (ordered it anyways). Too bad there wasnt a 2 week forgiveness window. Oh well.

Down at the bottom in fine print says, “Eligible product must be purchased from an authorized US Yamaha dealer between February 15, 2012 and April 30, 2012.” So since I bought it on the 4th of Feb 2012, does that mean a no go? |

Hi navydave,
Or tell ‘them’ at your dealership to Please honor the offer or you will cancel and reorder, else where. Did you put money down? I did not have my reading glasses on, my bad, not yours… Ah, good luck though, that is an awesome package deal. Chas |

Ask your dealer to honor the offer. If not, return it and buy another one. |

As a date-specific Yamaha-US offer, the dealer has no involvement in the process other than as a qualifying seller. I believe the only recourse would be to return and re-buy to qualify. Unfortunately, this will have the effect of ‘punishing’ the dealer (Who must absorb costs involved with the return and re-sale of the item), who has no control over the terms. I’m not trying to tell you what to do, just pointing out some realities. |

Ya, I already have it in hand. Had it for over a week. I think I will just have to lose out, since I know the salesman pretty well at Guitar Center who sold it to me. Since he runs sound for us, I’d hate to piss him off any more than I have too, lol. Oh well, wish I would have known, I would have waited. I suppose a call to Yamaha would do me no good to ask if I can get in under the wire (past tense)? |

You have nothing to lose by making a call. Yamaha can be quite accommodating at times, especially if you have been (or expect to be) a loyal customer. |

Worth a shot. Anyone know a number to call? Couldn’t find one on their “Contact Us” page. |
