Hello,
Thanks for your guide. Previously you guided me well and I have improved a lot because of it. Now there is a big issue in front of me which is the understanding the effects.

1) In song mode, how many maximum Insertion effects can be applied in one part?

Suppose if I want to create a mix like this, so is it possible?
In system effect I apply delay and reverb and it’s done.

Then next I want that on part 1 I apply compressor and distortion effect.
In part 2 I want to apply Flanger and phaser effect.

In part 3 I want to apply wah and tremolo effect.
And so on I want different effects in all the mix. Is it possible? If yes then please tell me how can I do it?

Regards,
Grover.

Max. 2 Ins. Effects per PART for a Max. of 8 PARTS.

1) In song mode, how many maximum Insertion effects can be applied in one part?

The INSERTION EFFECTS are activated as a part of the VOICE. Any eight PARTS can recall their VOICE mode dual Insertion Effects.

Suppose if I want to create a mix like this, so is it possible?
In system effect I apply delay and reverb and it’s done.

In your SONG or PATTERN
Press [MIXING]
Press [EDIT]
Press [COMMON EDIT]
Press [F5] EFFECT
Press [SF1] CONNECT
Move the cursor to the REVERB processor and select your reverb Type
Move the cursor to the CHORUS processor and select your delay Type

Then next I want that on part 1 I apply compressor and distortion effect.

From the main SONG or PATTERN screen
Press [MIXING] to view the mixer
Find the “INS FX SW” (Insertion Effect Switches just above the faders
Here on the mixer you can select the eight PARTS that will be able to have two Insertion Effects each.
Any eight PARTS can be set to on by placing a red check mark

Press number [1] to select PART 1
Press [F6] VCE EDIT (Voice Edit)
This drops you into full edit on the VOICE in PART 1
Press [COMMON EDIT] if not already lit
Press [F5] EFFECT
Press [SF1] CONNECT
Here you can select the COMPRESSOR for INSERTION “A” and DISTORTION for INSERTION “B” for PART 1
Press [STORE]
This will allow you to store this EDIT to the VOICE in PART 1 to a MIXING VOICE location within the current SONG or PATTERN. And it will assign this new VOICE to your MIXING setup.

In part 2 I want to apply Flanger and phaser effect.

From the mixer screen…
Press [2] to select PART 2
Press [F6] VCE EDIT (Voice Edit)
This drops you into full edit on the VOICE in PART 2
Press [COMMON EDIT] if not already lit
Press [F5] EFFECT
Press [SF1] CONNECT
Here you can select the FLANGER for INSERTION “A” and PHASER for INSERTION “B” for PART 2
Press [STORE]
This will allow you to store this EDIT to the VOICE in PART 2 to a MIXING VOICE location within the current SONG or PATTERN. And it will assign this new VOICE to your MIXING setup.

In part 3 I want to apply wah and tremolo effect.

Press [3] to select PART 3
Press [F6] VCE EDIT (Voice Edit)
This drops you into full edit on the VOICE in PART 3
Press [COMMON EDIT] if not already lit
Press [F5] EFFECT
Press [SF1] CONNECT
Here you can select the Wah for INSERTION “A” and Tremolo for INSERTION “B” for PART 2
Press [STORE]
This will allow you to store this EDIT to the VOICE in PART 3 to a MIXING VOICE location within the current SONG or PATTERN. And it will assign this new VOICE to your MIXING setup.

You can do this for any eight PARTS in your MIXING setup.

Hello Bad_Mister and all, Thank you for guiding me in such detail. I think that there’s no other way so perfect to explain anything. I’m so happy from the Motifator forum that if I had to rate it out of 10, I would give it a 10 because I learned Motif for free form this forum. It’s just awesome.

Thank you,
Grover.
