Hello-
A basic sequencing question;

I have a drum phrase that is of duration 1.00 - 8.4 on track#1. I want to insert a drum roll from 8.3 - 8.4 (just 2 beats).

How can I do this without having to go into the even editor and work at the notes level. Is there something like an insertion function out there?

Thank you.

What most people would do is place the TRACK into OVERDUB record and add the fill-in when the measure counter got to the 8the measure 3rd and 4th beat.

If you make a mistake you can have the sequencer undo your last overdub
Press [JOB]
Press [F1] UNDO

Or you can place the same VOICE on a separate PART and use a separate TRACK to record the fill-in in measure 008 of that Track… then use the MIX PHRASE Job to merge the two phrase.
