 Have a question, tho I’ve been reading numerous docs on it on the Steinway site, motivator and vids on YouTube

I’m able to load a midi file via USB into pattern and then successfully transmit to. Cubase.   I can then hit play on cubase and play back file thru motif engine. 
However, if I import a midi file from my laptop into cubase, I’m unable to figure out how to play it through the keyboard using motif as slave.   

Odd cuz I’m not changing any device settings and it’s prob something small.  Anysuggestions appreciated.

Sorry I reaize I don’t understand what you are saying here.

You have to set the MIDI output from each track to the PORT going to the Motif XF.
