I have installed:

- Cubase AI 4 v. 4.1.2 for Windows 7
- Steinberg FW driver for Win7
- Studio Manager v. 2.3.1 Win7
- Motif XS Editor v. 1.3.0 Win7
- Motif XS Editor VST v. 1.5.0 Win7 64-bit
- Motif XS Extension v. 1.6.0 Win7 64-bit

My OS is:

- Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Everything seems to work perfectly with the exception of the Extension, which does not appear anythere. I checked the Plug-in information tab as suggested in other parts of this forum, and it is not there.

I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, and it it didn’t work. I also tried installing the 32-bit version of the extension, since it seemed to work for other users of this forum. When I tried installing the 32-bit version, Windows gives me the message:

“The software cannot be installed in this version of Windows.”

Is there anything else I can do? I have run out of ideas, and I have already tried everthing that has been suggested in this forum. i’d appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!

---Perhaps start by installing the correct version of AI 4 (4.5.2)?

Hi, FrankE

Thanks for the advice. However, I have updated the Cubase AI 4 version to 4.5.2 with no effect. Cubase AI 4 continues not to recognize the extension. If you have any other ideas, I’d appreciate. Thanks.
