Hey everyone, question regarding the sounds in the MOX8 vs. the XF, acoustic pianos specifically. Are the samples the exact same on both models or are there differences?

The MOX and the Motif XS share the exact same wave ROM (2,670 Waveforms, 355MB) including the exact same 1024 Normal Presets, 64 Drum Kits, the 128 GM bank, and GM Drum Kit.

The XF has an additional 1307 Waveforms (3,977 total) and an additional 386MB (741MB total), but it shares the same basic PRESET LIBRARY: 1024 Presets, 64 Drum Kits, 128 GM bank and GM Drum Kit as the XS and MO-X, however, the XF extends the basic Yamaha sound Library with an additional BANK of 128 Normal VOICES that includes a new piano the “Natural S6 Grand” piano (not found in the MOX or XS). These new VOICES occupy USER 1 of the XF.

Hope that helps.
