Hi muziksculp,
I’m going to venture a large NO.
Too soon friend, but give them one more year to bring out something very special. Being that our Motif XF’s are still barely just over a year out on the market of keyboard/synth/workstations. I’d rather they took their time and blew us all away with a wonderful new ‘surprize’.

I’d love to see some lovely wood grain…

Do not listen to fools…

Yamaha is coming with their new top of the line workstation this month as Roland and Kurzweil do.

I was toking about that countless times here on forum and if u will read my previous old posts u can find reasons and many more why Yamaha is coming with a new Workstation this Winter Namm.......

Chilly,
Look who’s calling others fools here!
The toking part I believe, because you have to be on something. Hey it’s absolutely unequivocally super unaturally rediculous to believe in a workstation at NAMM 2012 from our friends at Yamaha.... It ‘Ain’t’ going to happen.

Anyway, that would only be another product for you to belittle, insult, put down and just generally become an arse about, Again.
It often seems like you will Never be happy, no how.

Why not go and buy two of anything else and go crazy on their Forums and webpages.
Which incidentally here is for the benefit of us Motif lovers who actually and without predudice don’t look for problems. But instead we let the experts do that for us, and hopefully they release an OS update to correct those problems.

Anyway, it’s always a big thrill to read your expressions and temporary feelings of injustice and wrong doing.

Blame all of your problems on Yamaha.

Please post up some more of Your music too…
Always cheers me right up, If You know what I mean?

Hello Chas

I don’t see any offence from me.
I just stated the fakts u like it or not
if u might think that offence were:
1) “Fools” word means people with low intellegent
2)u bought ur Motif XF a less then a year ago (and while Yamaha yells in this video http://motifator.com/index.php/videos/view/inspiration_comes_in_a_flash that thay set the standrt for years to come with motif XF or here http://www.yamahasynth.com/products/synthesizers/motif_xf/ thay yells that Motif Xf is “ a new generation Motif” thay lair in ur face because Motif Xf is a repacage not just XS but it is not far gone from even Motif Classic and all bloody limitations are still here in so called new generation Motif XF) and Yamaha did not do a singel reserch for improving their keybords until Kronos was annocended by Korg and u are probably u feel offenced and in addition Yama is coming with a new Workstation this upcoming NAMM, but not because of creativity or thay want to make as best as possible producs but because of money. Because with the Kronos on the market Yamaha won’t be able to sell extremly outdated technologies Motif XF even thought that Yamaha has the best marketing department and thay make the best advertaisments in the world.
So the fakt is:
1) a new Workstation from Yamaha this upcoming Winter NAMM 2012
2)a new Workstation from Kurzweil this upcoming Winter NAMM 2012
3) a new Workstation from Roland this upcoming Winter NAMM 2012
4) a new Digital piano from KORG based on Kronos piano engin this upcoming Winter NAMM 2012

1) a new replacment for Korg m50 which will be based on Kronos HD engine plus AL1 and MOD7 engines this Summer NAMM 2012

so that info i know so far about Workstation events in the near future from my magic orb, don’t have time to look more carefully into it because i am too busy at this time , because i have too many customers willing to know about their future....

So speaking from my point of view i do not want to feed the monster again( The Yamaha corporation anymrore) i will look foward to Kurzweil and maby Roland Producs too this winter NAMM…

but speaking about Kurzweil, it just happend that this upcoming NAMM thay will anocent their top of the line Workstation with Roland and YAmaha and i knew about Kurzweil Workstation relise date 1.5 year ago befor Kronos was anocented, so Kurzweil did not speed up their relise unlike Roland and Yamaha because of Kronos....

Hi chilly,
Eh, no offence taken, Pros like you are often butting heads with us mortals, & it’s common practice here with you, I honestly suppose. Like a bunch of rutting rams.
Nothing wrong with differences of opinion, taste, likes dislikes, preference for car color and on and on.
But when one comes into a Forum ‘dedicated’ to helping others enjoy their preferences to the fullest of their individual capacity, it’s kind of underhanded, lowdown even, to practice continually your berate and attemp to confuse us Yamaha lovers.

Many if not most of us here are prepared to deal with the shortcomings and go on to not only enjoy our Yamaha’s, but come back time and again to make further Yamaha purchases we love.

Even though you claim to find things that aren’t to your liking, you keep on hanging on to your complaints, when infact you’ve already given yourself the reasons then to simply move along.
We all can always go next door, go anywhere else, that makes us happy, contented, at peace with our purchases.
Yet WE are here, Why do you think that is?
I didn’t buy another brand because Yamaha makes me smile broad enough already.

Be well…

Chas

Chilli Willie! You are most entertaining. I admire your effort to share your opinions, crazy as they may seem but if you really know the future, you should play the lottery!

Otherwise onlookers can’t tell the difference.

I pity the fool that fooled you into becoming a tool, so that he can school you on how to drool over fables.

Yamaha is still developing the XF (Karma) so how can they release a new workstation?

Ok, everybody can now go back to toking…

YAMAHA will most likely show something new during the Winter NAMM 2012 Show. The Winter NAMM show is the big show of the year !

Maybe a New, and Great sounding Synth from YAMAHA will show up in Jan. 2012 ?

Au contraire. XF was no significant upgrade from XS (come on - it’s just the Flash memory and 128 additional voices and performances) and IN MY OPINION it was released to stay “fresh” on the market during recession (the 5 year gap between XS and the new synth would be too much), while a new synth was parallely developed. That’s how I would see it.

Hi Jote,
Ah, that old parallelogram rears it’s ugly sides, once again.
It must have been a ‘trig’ question.

Well, in some aspects I kind of hope you’re wrong.
I doubt Yamaha put out the XF as a standby unit.
And if they have, the next big thing will be a real dream machine.

hmmmm.... I guess we kind of all agree that YAMAHA will be announcing something new, and exiciting i.e. (Workstation or Synth), during the upcoming 2012 Winter NAMM show.

My guess is ROLAND will also introduce their next generation Workstation !

So now u conjecture that u might be a fool?

the word “fool” defenition:(man with low intelegent who could not predict that Yamaha is coming with a new Workstaion Winter Namm 2012 and also who arguing with the mage Chilly who is a high intelegent person who have a magic orb and know how to use it)

p.s.
even Dave Polich private life can be seen on my magic orb if i decide so, so better next time not to argue with me…

No one can tell what and when a new product will be released (apart from Yamaha), but IMO we can imagine that some of the newest technologies developped by Yamaha will be inside, as spectral component modeling like found in the CP 1/ 5, or even maybe some sounds found in the Tyros 4. I can´t figure out why some people aren´t satisfied with the AWM 2 synthesis, as it´s extremely powerful, insofar as one takes the time to understand it in depth.
