I just received a used ES8 in the mail.  The pictures the guy showed didn’t show damage, yet the box was in great shape and didn’t show any signs of damage either.  He’s agreed to reimburse me for repairs.  I’ve attached a picture of the broken key.  It still makes noise but sits down like that.

How would I go about getting this serviced or getting parts?  Can I do it myself?

Welcome to the forums - you are in the USA so you can use the convenient SERVICE LOCATOR

http://usa.yamaha.com/dealers/service_locator/index.html

You put in your ZIP CODE
Select: MUSIC PRODUCTON TOOLS
Select: Professional Synthesizer

It will give you the closest authorized repair shop… you can call them tell them what you need done.

Or you can if you have experience fixing keyboards - call Yamaha get the PART number and order the PART yourself. You will need the exact PART number in order to order it yourself but you can call to get that.
