I’ve seen a MOX6 logo’d bag available on European dealers’ websites, and recently noticed that Guitar Center is offering a mail-in rebate for a free MOX6 bag with purchase of a MOX6. I emailed Yamaha about availability of it here, and they replied that they do not manufacture bags, and I should try one of the aftermarket ones.

Your MOX6 is not exactly unique, bulky or heavy so there are dozens of aftermarket bags out there which will do fine. I have used a couple of RokSak bags for years which have been used with several keyboards and are tough and well padded and have no signs of wear. I am using one of them with my MOX8. Let’s face it, Yamaha don’t make gig bags (even if it has their name on it!) and anything beats a garbage bag! |

Didn’t take the MOX to rehearsal this week, after all. (Still trying to get the keyboard intro to “Feelin’ Allright” under my fingers!) Ordered a package that Music123 is offering right now - a ‘Musician’s Gear’ gig bag, a stretch-on keyboard cover, and a keyboard stand all for $40. Just a heads up: WWBW has a Yamaha sale going on now (not online - you have to call) --- good prices… |
