Hello,
A-type USB port of Motif ES is capable of supplying power to some external hard drives. Would it work on some midi-controllers, say, Novation Remote 25 LE? (This keyboard runs either bus-powered, or with it’s 9v adaptor, and even on batteries!)

A next question will be if a USB hub like this, or this would power up both the Remote 25 LE and my external hard drive. (The former hub has an optional power supply, while the latter does not.)

P.S. I could have tried some of these connections, but I don’t want to take risk. Besides, I don’t have Remote 25 LE yet. But I intend to buy one, if those kind of connections work.
