Hello!
I would like to know if it was possible to use the mox with a laptop, and use at the same time an ipad to have more control to use. Thank you so much! |

I’m not sure where dcool is getting this information… I’d wait for official announcements concerning iPAD apps and what you will and will not be able to do. Certainly the Motif XF can do so wired or wirelessly, the MOX will require a physical connection - the functions available in the four announced apps for the Motif XF can be found by going to http://www.yamahasynth.com/jp/library/motif_xf/ipad/soon.html MOX specific applications I guess will be similar (not sure). |

Thanks for that link! Assuming that “Faders and XY Pad” app works on the MOX (and that video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAa4tUDjDy0 implies that the apps for the two are identical, apart from the fact that the MOX version has to be hard-wired)… it looks like that would be a great solution to address the concerns of the “Part Volume Control Question” thread and my earlier “Assignable knobs” thread. At least for people who have iPads! |
