Hey everyone. When I’m in Performance Mode and I press the Voice button to enter Voice mode, the keyboard takes almost 1 second to change to Voice mode. Is this the norm on everyone’s keyboard? or do you all enter Voice mode instantly upon pressing the Voice button? Thanks in advance for your responses?

That’s how the XS that I used to own was. Very slow screen refresh response between modes. I’m assuming the XF is the same.

Other people have said that the actual mode changes instantly upon the button press. They say just the screen takes longer to refresh.

I’m not sure. I sold my XS. Too many things I didn’t like about it.

Compared to the ES I used for 6 years, button response on the XF is slower all the way around.

I’ve only had it a week so it hasn’t driven me crazy yet (ha ha), but I was a little surprised.

I thought the response is a little slow as well - I was pressing buttons a few times initially cos I thought it hadn’t seen the keypress. I’m used to it now but it’s still a bit annoying

The mode does change very quickly. The screen refresh does take time. So, you can push the button and start playing almost instantly.

I’ve noticed slow screen changes on my XF-7, but as msavard indicated, the sound actually changes before the screen does… quite quickly.
