Today I tried the MotifXS8 for the second time at Guitar Center(El Paso TX). This time I went through the Performances and I was damm f****ng amazed by some of the new ones, they are really really awesome, they way you can manipulate them with the sliders. However I am going to have to stick to my XS7(no money at this time). It would have been the perfect upgrade if I still had the ES. It’s not a bad machine like some people say, it has very good features. I also tried the Roland GAIA SH-01 and it’s quite a very good synth for its price $700. Very easy to use with all the basic functions at your fingers. Ofcourse it’s not a workstation. |
