Hello fellow motif users. i could really use some help. I own an XS7 and an iMac. I have successfully managed to connect the two via midi-usb (following the instructions on the motifator website) and all runs smooths on cubase AI4 apart from the following. When I record my first midi track (track 1) all is fine. Then when i record my second midi track (track 2) i get no playback of track1. If i try to listen to both tracks i hear only track 1, and whenever i change sounds on the XS, regardless of whether i am on track 1,2,3 etc, i get the same instrument on ALL tracks! any ideas? links? hope? many many thanks in advance! :)

Which mode are you running your XS in?

Try running your XS in Song or Pattern mode.
You will have 16 tracks = one for each midi channel.
Select/assign different instruments to each track.
