Sorry for the possibly stupid question - I’m pretty new to the MO-8. I want to set up my pedals so that the FC-4 acts as a sustain pedal (the default as far as I can tell) and then use the FC-5 to increment through patches etc. Is this possible and, if so, how do I go about setting this up? I’ve tried looking this up in in the manual, but a lot of it is going right over my head… Thanks in advance. |

No, you can’t.

OK - thanks for the quick reply. Is what I want to do feasible at all (even if it would require a different pedal)? |

Yes you can do almost anything over external midi,
You could, e.g. connect a second keyboard with a sustain-pedal via Midi-In,
But you cannot send CC99/100 from external devices and do the PC inc/dec
It also depends what you really want to,

Would it be possible to assign the variable pedal to “Release” and use it for the sustain pedal, then use the switch pedal for the patch increments? dave |
