Hello,

does anyone know how to create the synthesizer sounds for “Human” from “The Killers” on the MO6? I am especially looking for the pad sound at the beginning of the song and the sound of the “second” intro orior to the 2nd verse.

Thanks a lot and kind regards,

hervshahn

Hello again,

Is no one out there in the Motif universe to give a hint about how to create these sounds or where to get them from? I also would like to know how to build the initial sound to “open” a filter and makethe sound more “bright” at the end of the first verse with a controller or one of the sliders.

Any help is appreciated, thank you very much

Rgrds, hervshahn

hi hervshahn,
I’m not a remix pro (yet ;D ),
but maybe a good start could be a midi file you load in the MO
e.g.
http://www.cool-midi.com/download/the_killers-human.htm

(just google for “the killers human midi") for variations.
In the file mentioned above they use three different pads.
In the beginning there is obviously a saw pad,
its filter is turned down (cutoff)
Then they use a warm pad etc.
Maybe someone else can you help to get further with this special song,
but analyzing the whole thing and doing remix is an art of itself.
Just start by analyzing an appropiate midi file, then modify
the voices (envelopes, filters, lfos etc.), you can learn a lot.

Hope that helps a little bit, come back and ask more questions!
