Can somebody tell me how many MB it takes to store all data from Motif XS to USB ?  I have done a download to USB selecting “All”, but I only have 1.8 MB.  Is this normal ?

This can be a normal X0A ALL file if you don’t have any user waveforms (samples).

All you need is a 2 gig space USB thumb drive. In fact, I don’t think the XS will recognize a thumb drive much bigger than that anyway. Also, do yourself a favor and back it up on a computer in case something happens to it. (Usually 3 back up devices are most recomended.)

The XS accepts USB media FAT32 formatted.
So theoretically the limit is 64Tb ........................

An ALL file with no user samples or populated songs/patterns in it is less than 1.8Mb. If you have some sequencer data saved in there, then 1.8Mb sounds about right to me.
