Assuming that the FW concept is important for Yamaha and Steinberg, I wonder why the new synthesizers are not provided with the fire wire interface board the mLAN16E2? Or at least the MOTIF XF8 like the the XS8 has one.

Ofcourse it makes the XF8 look cheaper in price or maybe equal in price with the XS. The same for the mininum capaity flas board. Afteral the Flash memory stands for the “F” in the XF.

Why not offering both (mLAN16E2 and a Flash memory board)at a bundled price. LOL>

We believe in Europe they will offer some bundle packages. In the US, we will be offering mail in rebates for the options.
