Haha nice… but you forgot to add the USB “to device” port on the front for loading/saving user data. |

In my case I would very much love to have the XF because if its flash sampling capability. If I had known the XF was comming out I would have not sold my ES6 and wait until the XF came out, that would have been a good investment, but the thing is that you never know what’s going to happen in the future. The thing is that for me to sell my XS7 and buy an XF7 is lossing like almost $2000 bucks just to get the flash sampling function. So I decided to keep my XS7 and wait to see what comes after the XF, either to get a used XF that will cost far less once it’s out of production or get the new thing which I’m sure will have flash or something even better in it. Or if theere is a XFR like the one on maccins64 link, then I might consider getting one depending on what it does. |

if a rack XF does come forth;I hope they keep the “Drawbars” a la the Korg M 3 rack!!!!! It would be nice if the face was on a 45 angle;so you could have it off to the side And SEE the display!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Any more speculation or rumors of an XF Rack? actually, I have different reasons for wanting an XF rack release. I’m hoping they come out with a killer XF rack so that the used XS Rack market will saturate, prices of used XS Racks would go down and availability would go up! ;-) |

I hope so. Especially looking at the Korg Kronos, Yamaha’s new XF almost got sideswiped! Luckily, Korg’s sounds focus more on raw synthesis than sampling, which widens the field a bit leaving room or XF to relavent. The ONLY...ONLY reason I bought an XF is because if FireWire expansion. The flash got me too, but would have been useless for me without 16 outs + audio interface functionality that the FW16E brings. My next workstation music send 24 stereo tracks out via FireWire/Thunderbolt, or some other future medium to eliminate the need to for render tracks individually. Gone should be those days. |

Wow… Time sure flies. It’s been ten years already since the launch of the first Motif ! Keyboard Magazine Cover (June-2011). ‘10 Years of The MOTIF’ I wonder if there will be another generation of MOTIF after a whole decade of evolution ? Image Attachments
