Scene......

A 50 year old guy is released from jail after serving 30 years prison sentence. Sitting alone in the dust covered lounge of his parents house who died long ago.  Reflecting on his life. Thinking if he did not make one mistake of mugging the old lady and then killing her since she saw his face and recognized him. He might not be lonely now in the late hours of his life.

With tears running down his face he hers children laughing and giggling outside near a ice cream truck. For the moment a shallow smile goes pass his face but as soon as the kids jump on their bikes and goes away the feeling of despair starts haunting him again. And he sits back and live the darkness of his destiny.

bucking for compliments here LOL.

Hi Hammad,

first of all: The music is the story!! And second: Wonderful guitar composition!!! It is the right piece of music for sitting at the beach and watch the ships.

So: Where are the ships and the sea? Send me please!!LOL!!

Expresses the loneliness excellently.
But I would add some sadness.
I can think of 2 ways:
1) a soft ‘lonely’ cello in the background,
2) a ‘sad’ pad. On the ES I’d use “Homesick”.
As I don’t have an XS I don’t know what is alike on it.

Hammad,

When I see a song with the title “ Solitude” next always comes in my mind:

Solitude, a song by Duke Ellington, performed by Billie Holiday

So I was very surprised to hear something completely different. Still a nice peace of music. Nevertheless I prefer Duke Ellington’s version song by Billie Holiday. LOL

Greetings Hammad,

A very nice piece!! Yes, a cello, accompanying guitar, or the Uilleann pipes (Braveheart theme instrument) playing in the background could definitely enhance this tune.

However, I don’t see a Uilleann Pipes voice on the XS. What say Yamaha? :)

Keep on creating!!

Cheers,
KT

Hi Hammad,

Yes a deep musically reflection in this song! Much sensibility, sweet touch. Notes are bringing the scene very well. And this is also a very good sound that you manage with style .
Cheers
